Some words sound so nice in German. Like "Langeweile" instead of "boredom." Try to read it out loud, l-a-ng-e-w-e-i-l-e, and you'll see that it expresses beautifully what it means.
Or take "Gießkanne" instead of "water can." Because yes, I bought a new water can for the balcony. It arrived today. It was a bit bigger than I thought it would be when I looked at it online. But its form is fantastic, so singular, don't you think? I like aesthetics not only in art but also in everyday items. From now on, watering the flowers will be such an aesthetic experience. Too bad I can only water them once a day.
Also my plants are happy. I used to soak them with a splash of water. Now the new can sprays water upon them as if it's raining every day. Heaven!
