“Do you always work together?” I ask the sign-artists Tomma Suki Hinrichsen and Dominik Dober. “No,” Tomma tells me, “We are in a relationship. We don’t work together.” But I find out that they manage pretty well together in this first professional adventure.
It’s the sign-making that’s not as easy as I thought. A sign asks for a short and simple message like “Everyone is an artist.” For now, we’re making signs that help to organise the lab space: “kitchen team”, “bar team,” etc. I make one that goes with the busy schedule: “Lass mich ausschlafen.”
