“Sculptural Democracy. The Forms of the We” is a collaborative lab. Collaborating asks for a lot of communication. So on the first day, the participants go for a walk and talk. Walking gives a good flow to talking. It doesn’t feel so static as when you sit down. That’s why Joseph Beuys walks towards us when he says ‘La rivoluzione siamo Noi’. We’re swept on by the current.
After a lot of talking, I need alone-time so I sit down on a terrace. An elderly lady at the neighbouring table points out to her son that everyone is now wearing sneakers, even the business men underneath their suit: “Das ist jetzt völlig in. Wie man auf die Idee kommt…”
