“Trash is hard to find in Düsseldorf.” This is what I hear on the first day of the workshop (try to say the following in one go) “Rohstoffrückgewinnungszentrum Düsseldorf”. Maybe, in the first rush, they had been looking for the big pieces, the extraordinary trash. A few days later it turns out that the normal ends up being so much more interesting. Like pieces of matchboxes, cigarette butts, candy wrappers, bottle caps. Stuck on the “recycling palette” they turn into something close to poetry.
