Unserious

Unserious

I've been watching the documentary The Life of Andy Warhol and it made me, if possible, even more in awe of what Andy Warhol did. Another nice detail that I found out online (sorry, forgot where, I think Blake Gopnik's Instagram...):

Andy Warhol knew what the score was, one of his first boyfriends said, but "he was always involved with it on the level of a game or play.... He couldn't understand why people were taking things so seriously."  Blake Gopnik: "Even when Warhol went on to make some of history's most serious art, an unserious manner was central to his public persona."
